Man arrested after kicking, shattering glass door of Montreal Street government building

Kingston Heritage

A 27-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested after he returned to the same building where he previously broke a door window.

Police say that on Jan. 30 at approximately 1 p.m., the accused entered a government building on Montreal Street, where he became upset when he was not approved for services he was seeking. The accused kicked and shattered the glass on a door, then fled on foot.

The accused returned to the same building on Feb. 14; police were notified and he was arrested.

He was charged with mischief and breach of probation, then transported to police headquarters where he was held to attend a bail hearing the following day.
