Driver 5 times over alcohol limit, police say

KINGSTON, Ont. - Police in Kingston, Ont., say a man is facing charges after blowing well over the legal blood alcohol content limit.

Police were called Wednesday afternoon after a driver was seen sleeping behind the wheel at a set of traffic lights.

An officer found the vehicle pulled over and the driver was arrested.

Police say breath samples indicated he had about five times the legal limit of alcohol in his bloodstream.

The 43-year-old man, whose name wasn't released, is charged with impaired driving and driving with more than the legal amount of alcohol in his blood.

His driver's licence was automatically suspended for 90 days, and he was released from custody.

FIVE times the limit? How many drinks would that take? I know when I've had enough, and I always drink at home. This guy must have the constitution of a hippo, and a toilet within a few steps.
