A weather advisory is in effect for Napanee, Consecon, Picton and Sandbanks Park
According to Environment Canada, a travel weather advisory has been issued for Prince Edward County as the Lake Ontario snow band is expected to come ashore into the county early this evening. Amounts of 5 to 10 cm are possible in a few locales including Consecon, Wellington, Bloomfield and possibly Picton. It will linger for a few hours before ending later this evening.
Some poor travel conditions may be expected to develop this evening with reduced visibility in falling snow and potentially slippery roads.
